SAV patented components

We have developed and patented several products that are recognised at an international level in the automotive industry.

Patent for type I sliding bushings

Our patented type I sliding bushing is a vulcanised rubber and nylon bushing with MovelonĀ® components. The non-vulcanised inner metal tube is free to rotate in the MovelonĀ® and does not subject the rubber to torsional stress; this increases its service life under stress.

Furthermore, since the MovelonĀ® is a self-lubricating material that does not suffer from wear, there is no excessive play between the bushing and the inner tube. Given that the outer part is made of rubber, no tightening tolerances are required on the mounting seat or special machining operations.

This article is lighter in weight compared to the rubber metal solution.

Patent for bushings with cambers

Our nylon metal rubber vulcanised bushing consists of a nylon outer section that is not cylindrical but has a slight camber in the centre.

The bushing is mounted by interference in its seat creating a pre-compression of the rubber with consequent advantages both from a torsional point of view, since it can be subjected to higher torsional angles compared to the classic metal rubber bushing, and also from a service live under stress point of view.

Given that the outer part is made of nylon, no tightening tolerances are required on the mounting seat or special machining operations.

Patent for type II new generation sliding bushings

This article is the evolution of the sliding nylon rubber bushing with MovelonĀ®.
It has the same advantages as the traditional patented bushing, but as the outer part is in nylon instead of rubber, it does not require particular operations during the assembly phase to allow the rubber to settle in place.

Patent for interlocking bushings

This article is the evolution of the nylon rubber bushing. We have studied this product to overcome the problems related to the torsional stress of the classic rubber metal bushing.

This article has a high mechanical strength and is designed to withstand torsional, radial and axial stress. Its particular structure gives it significantly more fatigue resistance compared to traditional metal rubber bushings.
